Show Me Tell Me

There are basic safety checks that a driver needs to carry out in order to ensure that the car they are driving is safe. Although some checks will result in the candidate opening the bonnet of the car to identify were fluid levels would be checked, candidates will not be asked to touch a hot engine or physically check fluid levels.

In the Driving Test the candidate will be asked one ‘Show Me’ and one ‘Tell Me’ question and if one or both of the questions are answered incorrectly this will result in a driving fault being recorded.

Full details of the questions can be found on our ‘Show me, Tell Me’ pages.
